Mission District

The Mission is southeast of downtown San Francisco in one of the sunniest parts of the city, and the City describes it as a large neighborhood with several major corridors. The Valencia corridor is full of bistros and boutiques, while the stretch of 24th Street known as El Corazón de la Misión has, the City says, the greatest concentration of murals and Latino businesses in San Francisco. Dolores Street is a palm-lined boulevard that passes Dolores Park, Mission High School and Mission Dolores.
