Union Square

Union Square is the central shopping, hotel and theater district that surrounds a one-block plaza in central San Francisco. The City says the plaza and surrounding area form one of the largest collections of art galleries, salons and luxury shopping in the United States, with historical monuments, a built-in stage and an underground garage. During the holidays the plaza hosts a seasonal ice skating rink.
